After a lot of futzing around, Weighted Deer is done and approved for mass production!
Also, Bear and Horse and quite a few others (Raccoon, Bison, Orca, Fox, Coyote, Wolf, and Eagle) are also done with mass production!! /airhorns.

All quiet on the homefront until this week, as it has been Mid-Autumn Festival and so, production was stopped for a week in observation of the national holiday in China :)
Stateside, I am still working with ShipMonk (our fulfillment partner) to prep the backend so that inventory is well managed and thus, when the time comes to start shipping, things run nice and smooth and everyone gets their proper chosen plush without mistakes.
Even if there are mistakes, I've chosen to pay out of pocket for additional delivery insurance for all backers, both Kickstarter and BackerKit preorders, in case of "porch pirate" thefts, extreme delays, damaged items, mispicked items, and other issues that may occur, especially as it's looking like things will begin to ship in mid-December, which is a fraught time for the shipping industry at large because of, ya know, the biggest holiday of the year in North America haha.

This is just a little behind-the-scenes stuff, but every Weighted Wildlife™ plush will have a unique tag for their species with some fun facts about the animal!

Sorry for the small amount of silence, but there wasn't too much to report as things move into production and I do a lot of backend work on preparing to work with our fulfillment partner - ShipMonk - and the final WeightedWildlife.com website :)
Rabbit is still being 100% finalized, as is Cougar, but Lynx will be sent off to production and now we're truly in the final stretch of things!!! Very exciting!!
Weighted Cougar is almost done, just some final tweaks to the face to make em perfect :)
There has been an astronomical amount of work going on behind the scenes, including finalizing fulfilment details, organizing freight, building the WeightedWildlife.com website, trying to get help with responding to comments/emails/etc. moving forward, and more I probably can't even think of right now.
Thank you all for your continued patience as we start transitioning both out of production toward fulfilment and into production for the last remaining prototypes that are being finalized. :)
The Wolf, Coyote, Bear, Fox, Raccoon, and Horse are all done with mass production!
These are some of the plushies off the assembly line with their butt tags and everything. They are just waiting to have their hangtags put on them!
All plushies will be sent out with each other, so while these guys are done, we're waiting on all the rest to wrap up mass production as well as the final four prototypes (Raven, Cougar, Lynx, Rabbit) to be finalized and approved before being sent to mass production.
Things are moving along quicker than expected re: production, which is super exciting!
