In the Final Stretch!

The goods have successfully made it through the Panama Canal, all customs and EPA paperwork is up-to-date and signed, and we are merely waiting for the ship to make it to the Houston port, be unloaded, and for the two containers to make their way to Dallas!

The goods are currently tracked to arrive MARCH 29TH, 2024 and require a small lull period afterward for unloading and processing into the system.

On the backend, we are ascertaining shipments can begin going out almost IMMEDIATELY the moment they are unloaded from the containers by our fulfillment team.  

This means a much, much faster fulfillment period than you might be used to from a Kickstarter should no snags be found. 

The facility we are using is a high capacity center that is accustomed to shipping out thousands of packages a days . The only thing that might delay this speediness is the Easter holiday here in the USA, but it would only be by a few days. 

I will be posting another update before true fulfillment begins, but I would like to set up some expectations for your actual package with explanations as to why this is happening

THINGS TO EXPECT
-unbranded polymailers 

----our current facility charges us for using our own branded packaging and it was simply not in the budget of the initial launch to create branded packaging that would not have lived up to our going-forward standard we wanted anyway

-no additional branding/marketing material inside of packages

------this is also an addition our current facility charges us to add. We are already planning to change fulfillment centers in the very near future so we can include things like gift messages, coupon codes, gift wrapping, marketing messages, etc.

-insurance on USA orders

------I have paid an additional $4,500 to add insurance on all orders made in the USA. This insurance will loss, damage, or theft of your order. Going forward, this insurance will be an opt-in option for the Weighted Wildlife website

Our goal is to eventually have branded boxes for the plush, but we are waiting to do so until we have our own space that will allow us to use any sort of boxes and additions we want.  

This is a brand new venture to me and so I am still learning by trial and error the world of warehousing and fulfillment so thank you for being patient with me!!

I will be updating again as we grow even closer to fulfillment, but thank you all for your patience and continued support!!

Fulfillment Update + Logo Reveal + TFF Appearance

Both shipping containers are still on their way to our fulfillment center in Dallas, Texas.

They are scheduled to arrive on March 28th and then there will be about 1-2~ weeks of processing and then fulfillment will begin in earnest.

 I will update with any new information as I receive it. 

Currently all orders are queued up with my fulfillment center's internal system and all kinks are being worked out there to make for a smooth start to fulfillment. 

 The weeks are truly zooming by and before we know it, it'll be the end of March, for which I'm super hype for!

I would also like to introduce our new logo and typeset going forward that was designed by the amazingThornWolf (https://www.thornwolf.com/)! 

Going forward this will be our logo and typeset on all Weighted Wildlife branding and I'm super hype to start looking "more official" as it were haha.

Additionally, I will be vending at Texas Furry Fiesta on the weekend of March 14-17th and will have an example of EVERY SINGLE current Weighted Wildlife design with me on display and available for preorder as our website prepares to launch officially.

2ND DEADLINE WARNING - Shipping Addresses NEEDED by Feb 10th

Another poke with the same verbiage and request as the last update - PLEASE do any shipping address you require by February 10th, 2024

Please DO NOT message me on Instagram, Twitter, Facebook Messenger about this issue because your message WILL get looked over due to the very bad notification system of those platforms.  

Please SEARCH FIRST for your BackerKit survey in the email associated with your Kickstarter and/or your preorder before messaging me. If you purchased through BackerKit, did add-ons through BackerKit, etc, you most certainly have a confirmation email somewhere hidden in your inbox.

 This is a plea to cut down on messages I received that were very redundant as the shipping addresses given were already on file and were not in need of changing. I received hundred of messages/emails that were largely redundant when they could have be resolved by searching your inbox first.

 If you cannot find the confirmation email, then yes, feel free to message me, but I am simply trying to save both of us time if possible.

This is a two week heads up that ALL SHIPPING ADDRESSES NEED TO BE LOCKED IN.

The shipping containers have been sent to port and are estimated to be delivered to Dallas, Texas, where our fulfillment center is, on MARCH 13TH

PLEASE EITHER UPDATE YOUR BACKERKIT SURVEYS OR MESSAGE ME WITH WHATEVER SHIPPING ADDRESS YOU WILL BE ABLE TO RECEIVE PACKAGES AT STARTING MARCH 13TH AND ONWARD.

This action is due by FEBRUARY 10TH when I will be LOCKING addresses so they can be queued up and transfered to the permanent website for Weighted Wildlife in anticipation of fulfillment. 

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE make sure your shipping address is up to date so that the fulfillment process can go smoothly. This is for my benefit AND yours.

February is the shortest month of the year so it is going to be sure to FLY BY toward fulfillment and with 5,000+ orders, having as many ducks in a row was possible will be necessary.

I have chosen to pay for, out of pocket, shipping insurance for each and every package sent by the fulfillment company to cover loss, damage, porch pirates, etc. This is being done as both a thank you to you all and to hopefully leave a first good impression of Weighted Wildlife on  our most passionate customers - you all!
