I've had multiple people who did not fully read the last two Updates assume that plush are going to begin going out on January 12th.
THEY ARE NOT.
The previous update mentioned January 12th as the dispatch date from our FACTORY which means it will take anywhere from 15-30 DAYS from there for all the plush to arrive at our fulfillment center. Please refer to previous posts to ascertain this is what I said if in doubt.
I am communicating with you all every drop of information I know almost immediately after receiving said communications.
I am one man and do not control the weather, the shipping ports, the post office, or any of the steps besides paying for your pledges to go out as quick as humanly possible. I am working very close and very often with my factory and freight forwarder and we are trying as hard as we can to get things out as quick as we can so that they can begin fulfillment.
Your patience is appreciated at this time. Everyone will get their plushes that they paid for come hell or high water.
Preorder Store Closing!

The BackerKit preorder store will be closing on January 12th, the day of dispatch, in order to lock in our inventory numbers needed to fulfill the Kickstarter pledges and BackerKit preorders.
THIS DOES NOT MEAN SURVEYS CURRENTLY UNFINISHED CANNOT BE FINISHED.
This simply means that non-Kickstarter backers will not be able to preorder after the 12th. Add-ons for Kickstarter backers can still be purchased if your survey remains unfinished and unlocked.
Addresses will be locked at a later time. You are still able to change your shipping address until I announce addresses being locked.
This is merely a warning to anyone who invited friends or family to preorder who were not a part of the Kickstarter campaign to get their preorders in before the store is closed to prevent any over-ordering of the inventory we have coming in.
Thanks again for all your patience and sticking with all the Updates.
This month is probably going to fly by and now we are merely in the waiting game of international freight shipping, but I am excited for all that is to come for Weighted Wildlife.

I've just been given a dispatch date from my factory of JANUARY 12TH
This will be the date all of the plush are loaded up and begin their journey to the fulfillment center. It will take from there approximately anywhere from 15-30 days to arrive.
The reason for the push back in shipment was some quality control remakes, but we should be good to go moving forward.
As soon as things are shipped and I have a tracking number, I will be closing the preorder store. This does NOT stop you from filling out your own surveys if you have not yet done so, nor does it stop you from changing your mailing address.
I will make an announcement in the final lead up to fulfillment's start about locking addresses, but for now, they can still be altered.
Final Safety Certificates Obtained and Quality Checking Wrapping Up!

WOOHOO!!
There was a slight delay at the safety testing laboratory that we had to wait on to get our finalized certificates to ensure safety for the second batch of submitted designs.
Now that we have them in hand, I'll be submitting them to my freight company and once the tail end of quality checking finishes, they'll be on their way to our warehouse for fulfillment!
