Raccoon Prototype Finalized!

All corrections to the Raccoon prototype have been finalized and I'm super happy with how it came out!
With a bigger tail and a better smile, this guy is going into production along with some of the other finalized plush :)
On other updates - there have been issues with me being able to pay BackerKit as it's a wire transfer due to the large payment and now I'm waiting on technical support to figure that all out, which is a bit of a pain in the butt, but working on it so those Backer Surveys can get out sometime this coming week :')
I'm so sorry for the delay and I'm trying my best to expedite the process, but there's a lot of balls in the air right now and I'm only one guy :'D

Funds Deposited and Prototype Updates

This morning the funds from the Kickstarter were deposited into my business account and a bank transfer has been initiated between that account and BackerKit to get the ball rolling on Backer Surveys.
Once that transfer is complete, Backer Surveys will go out in batches, starting with 5% of you as a 'smoke test' to ascertain nothing is wrong with the survey before being sent out in larger waves to you all.
I wish I could make this process go faster, but it's basically me waiting around for banks to finish their transfers. :(
Prototypes for stretch goal designs are taking longer than expected, but I have updates on refinements to the original design prototypes that were highly requested by you all!
The Bear has been made larger, as was highly requested by many of you to a total of 3.3 lbs (1.5 kgs)!
The Eagle has had weight added to the upper part of it's wings as well as fattened up in the belly, to total out to 2.4 lbs (1.1 kgs)!
The Horse has also had it's weight upped by popular demand to 2.2 lbs (1 kgs) and has had it's long pile hair changed to a shaped imitation rabbit fur, due to complaints about long pile causing sensory issues in a lot of people.
I've opted to change the most "plasticy" feel in long pile fur in three of the prototypes - Wolf, Coyote, and Fox - to a shorter, softer pile due to both cleaning concerns and comfort concerns by those with sensory concerns.
This change WILL NOT change the aesthetics of the plush meaningfully and will be shown ASAP as soon as the changes are done. This was done to accommodate a wider audience, including many neurodivergent backers who expressed concern about uncomfortable long pile furs.
My goal is to make these plush, which are already meant to comfort, more accessible to those with touch sensitivities. I understand some might not be thrilled with this change, but the goal of Weighted Wildlife from the start was to offer more accessible and diverse weighted plush, so I hope this slight change makes the most people as possible happy.

Raccoon prototype got some fixes and they're almost perfect!
We're just fixing em up to be perfect with a nice smile and a big fat tail :D
Small Update + Small Timeline

I've been getting a lot of messages and comments with similar questions and concerns, so I figured I'd just answer them all here.
The current timeline is thus;
July 18th - Kickstarter begins the deposit of funds into my business account
July 19th/20th - Deposit completes, payment of BackerKit and Kickstarter fees.
July 20th into the next week - Batches of BackerKit surveys will go out to select your plush. These will go out in waves.
Around same time, (later next week), perhaps before, some prototypes are scheduled to be completed in part or in full. Prototypes are a process and they are not always 100% perfect (such as the Raccoon, as already shown) the first time around, so they are subject to corrections.
YOU DO NOT NEED TO LOCK IN YOUR SELECTION OF PLUSH (SPECIES) UNTIL THE MID-END OF AUGUST
This means that you WILL be able to see the completed prototypes before your selection has to be locked in.

Small Update - Pre-Order Store + Backer Surveys + Failed Pledges

Hey!
I've personally messaged those affected, but some of the pledges (about 155~) have failed when Kickstarter attempted to collect funds. If you received an e-mail about this from Kickstarter and from me, personally, please correct your card information ASAP so your order does not get cancelled by Kickstarter in the next few days.
However, if it DOES fail through or you missed backing the Kickstarter, consider using our Pre-Order store through BackerKit, the same company helping to manage pledges and send out Backer Surveys.
Backer Surveys are being finalized and will be sent out after Kickstarter finishes collecting funds in the next few days.
This delay in sending surveys (to make your species choices) is to avoid both issues with failed cards and to ascertain the details of add-ons and shipping fees so no one is overcharged should they wish to do add-ons.
There is a lot of work that has been going on with the backend with prototyping, finances, branding, etc, but I am working very hard to transition into the production stage soon. Prototypes are on their way and I will show them as soon as they are sufficiently finished!!
